Anyone know any signs that a kitten is healthy or unhealthy when first seeing it at a store? We’re buying a kitten this week at an adoption agency I think, and I would like to know. Thanks!

To: DL, You may want to add some Brewer’s Yeast to their food as it is an excellent source of B Vitamins, and another food to add would be Beef heart, sliced and cubed or diced and feed raw. It’s a natural source of taurine. For a small dog, just a fourth a cup or less, at least a few times a week.
Another thing is get some acidophilis and sprinkle that on the food. Ask Vet for amount for your dog.

We’ve got a 4 month old German Shepherd pup who we started feeding the ‘Ol’ Roy’ branded food but we got a good tip that it was unhealthy for him. We were thinking either Purina or Pedigree. What do you think?
